I was raised in West Des Moines and the first job that I had was with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa.  I worked in several departments including Medicare Compliance and Claims.  Little did I know at that time that I would end up in the health insurance business owning my own agency.  I have witnessed immense change in the industry over the span of 40 years.

I am continually broadening my knowledge base through the Kelley Insurance Center at Drake University.  I also attend many workshops and continuing education programs offered through other respected institutions.

I am proud to say that I own a third generation business.  The referrals that I get are from existing clients, local businesses, CPAs, attorneys, property and casualty agents, networking associates and events I attend.

I am married to Dan (the founder of our agency) and we have one daughter, Kendi, son-in-law, John and a black Schnauzer named Duke.  We enjoy our lake home in Sun Valley, travelling, cooking, family trips, classic cars and spending time with our friends.
